We received the news of my grandfather's passing on Thanksgiving Day. He died right about 12:00 noon on Thanksgiving Day. Papa has always been a positive, loving influence in my life and I am sad to see him go. I do believe, however, that he was able to spend his first Thanksgiving with my Granny in 25+ years. In fact, some of my cousins and I were joking that Granny probably asked him to be ready for dinner in Heaven at noon and gladly complied.
