Fabulous Army Life

Celebrating 45 (!!) was amazing with my handsome man! We decided to stop in Dallas on our way back from dropping kids off in Waco. My guy was so good to me, making reservations at the (ah-mazing) Trulucks restaurant after a day of shopping the Galleria, then spending a luxurious night at the Lincoln Centre Hilton. I feel special and blessed ... and not at ALL forty-five. =)

We had a totally awesome time tonight at, like, a dinner for these great Army folks who are, like, totally leaving for a rad new job.  It was fer sure a great time!

Trey and I were not able to get to the HP7 final movie on the 15th of July when it opened so we improvised by hosting our own Harry Potter dinner and watched HP7, Part I to prepare us for the grand finale. It was impromptu fun ... and yummy, too! Homemade butterbeer is a must! Our Harry Potter buffet-style dinner, including smoked baby Hippogriff, cauldron cakes, and some fruit treats from Herbology class! More yummy treats for our impromptu HP Night!
