Baylor Basketball Camp

This is my boy on Day One of Baylor Basketball camp. I'm so excited for him to get to play there! BIG hugs and thanks to the parents-in-law for keeping the boys this week and providing all the transportation and support throughout the camp!

West Wing Tour

Somehow the stars, moons, and planets aligned for us to a) live in Washington DC, b) know someone who works in the White House, and c) have the opportunity to take a tour of the West Wing of the White House.  The boys and I spent a beautiful afternoon touring the West Wing with our dear friend Rich Morales.  It was a day for the memory book for sure!

Joshua's Orchestra Concert

My fabulous 5th grader is learning the viola and performed beautifully at his school concert tonight!

Starting 5th Grade

Joshua with his fabulous 5th grade teacher, Mrs. McCloskey! Joshua was able to meet his new teacher today at Marshall Road's open house.  She's new to the district and we are thrilled with her! First day of school is next Tuesday and we are ready!

Fishing with Dad

Joshua was very excited to spend the week home with Dad while Mom worked and Trey finished up his summer IFTA classes.  First on the agenda?  Fishing!  They had a great time fishing at Burke Lake although Joshua had some reservations about the size of the fish they caught.  No matter, though, spending the time with dad and actually catching some fish made for a superfun day for my boy.

Nerf War: Silly String Battle

After a series of Nerf battles, the kids gathered for pizza and cake then were right back at it, battling through the afternoon.  This time, the weapon was Silly String!
