This group of ladies provided much laughter, comfort, advice, and friendship throughout our week together at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. We gathered to learn more about our upcoming volunteer roles in the Army and came away with all that and much, much more. Thank you for a wonderful week ... and for wonderful new friendships!
Everyone has their own learning style so I can only share with you what worked for me to prepare for the PMP exam ... A couple of caveats before I share … I am an over-preparer. I was slightly terrified to take this exam and likely spent too much money and used too many resources for a normal, non-extreme studier. I justified that I had saved thousands of dollars on a PMP boot camp due to the gracious program at Syracuse and IVMF so I spent a little more on additional resources than I likely would have normally. I learn best when I can see and hear and feel concepts presented in a variety of ways. Because of this, I like to have lots of options. Traci,
ReplyDeleteI have to say it was very difficult to find a good way to contact you. But, I would imagine that is from a lot of spam that you get.
I am the Creative Director at SkEye Studios. We are currently launching a crowd-funding campaign to tell the story of Maj. Scotty Smiley. He is a military veteran that was blinded in Iraq in 2005, and since then he has exceeded everyone's expectations of him.
Before I request anything of you, I was wondering if you could watch the 3-minute Kickstarter video that we created. His story is incredible, and we are telling it to help spread his message of inspiration and hope to both military families and americans.
Please let me know what you think: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/skeyestudios/scotty-smiley-documentary
If this is something you wouldn't mind supporting, It would be amazing if you could write a blog post about this. If you would be interested I could get you connected with Tiffany or Scotty and so you could get some quotes for the post.
We have 28 days to reach our goal of $50,000 and we need all the support we can get.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for your time,
Chris Kiefer
